ICE – Réseau Francophone

ICE-RF is a non-profit association.

To young people at the age of 18 to 26 it permits living a volunteer-service-year in the cultural, educational, environmental and social spheres of a foreign country; generally in a European country.

The volunteer service addresses to young Frenchmen as well as to European youths.

By the intermediation of ICE-RF the young volunteer spends 12 months living away from their home country in the lap of a public or private establishment or an association:

- that undertakes his / her cost and lodging,
- that grants him / her the time to learn or to perfect his French,
- that pays him / her a sum of minimal 125 € pocket money per month,
- that pays the social contributions.

In the same way ICE-RF:

- ensures the sending of the young volunteers’ administrative documents,
- keeps contact with the volunteer, with his receptive establishment and the tutor that is instructed to accompany him during his service-year,
- offers during the year meetings for the volunteers in order to learn, to exchange and to support each other.
